JNC Youth Worker

Pay rate is approx 17/hr - Ltd/ Umbrella Company

3 month full time contract initially with a view to renewal- We are looking for a JNC qualified Youth Worker who is preferably DANOS trained. The post holder will be working within the local authority's youth work service delievering a range of youth work services as directed by the team manager. The service provides face to face social work which is often delivered in the evenings and at weekends and it also works with targeted groups and offers a one to one service. F0D8;You must have substantial experience in delivering youth work within a variety of settings in a
full time role
F0D8;You must be able to engage well with young people
You will ideally be DANOS trained
F0D8;You must have an engaging telephone manner and excellent communication skills
F0D8;You must have good listening skills.
F0D8;You must be prepared to work some evenings You must be able to work deadlines and be able to work in a pressurised, fast paced
environment
F0D8;You must be willing to undergo or have undergone an enhanced DBS check
F0D8;You must be a car driver with your own transport and business insurance
