Jive & Java/J2EE Architect/Designer

Tasks & Responsibilities of the Jive
Design, develop, test and maintain customized solutions in the tool with optimal usability/user experience; possibly using available plugs in;
Provide advice and development on integration of document collaboration modules, in particularly for Microsoft Office and SharePoint;
Advice on mobile and security issues;
Produce quality code that is well documented, and in accordance with system and technical specifications;
Liaise with other project teams as necessary to address cross-project interdependence.

Skills and Experience required by the Jive/Java/J2EE Developer:
A University IT degree is required with minimum 18 years' experience in IT;
Minimum 9 years of solid proven experience in Java/J2EE development;
Minimum 3 years of Core Specific Competency in Jive in implementation and creation of sites and architecture. Current version is 7. Migration to version 8 in the medium term;
Solid and proven experience in Front End web-based development: HTML, CSS, XML, JSON, JavaScript, jQuery;
Proven knowledge of database modelling and building (MySQL, Oracle);
Experience working in agile environments using Scrum (or similar) and via innovative/interactive techniques to engage customers during project. Ability to cope with the fast changing technologies used in web applications management and willingness to learn new technologies with fast experimentation cycles; Excellent language skills in English, both written and spoken. French knowledge will be an asset.
