The Consumables & Processes departments are, as part of the R&D organization, responsible for development of printing (imaging) processes and consumable materials (inks, toners, print heads) to be applied in innovative print systems. MetalJet is a breakthrough technology for jetting molten metals at high temperatures. The world's first multimetal 3D printing machine was built in cooperation with an external high-tech partner for our first client. Jetting process and printhead development are among our main activities, for which sustained experimental work and implementation of new solutions are necessary to further develop the technology.
To expand the team we are looking for an A-CLASS JETTING PROCESS DEVELOPER
TASKS:
- Perform experimental research on molten metal jetting with relevant metals.
- Find, implement, and validate innovative solutions to further develop the process and technology.
- Consolidate the jetting process to reach project targets.
CANDIDATE PROFILE:
- We are looking for a highly skilled and highly motivated candidate for process research and development.
- Candidate must have an academic level and a proven track record as an R fluent in English, preferably fluent in Dutch.
- Candidate is able to combine his creativity and analytical skills to effectively reach the deliverables of the project.
- Great team player
- Result oriented, based on effective organization of his own activities
- Show initiative and adaptability
- Prepared to grow towards a coach/process leader role
