JEE Software Developer / Institutions in Brussels

For different missions at the EU institutions in Brussels, Ordina is searching several Senior JAVA Software Developer / Designers.

What can you expect?

Within the context of the development and deployment of applications the EU institutions need the on-site support by a dedicated team to develop, test, debug, deploy, analyse and provide support. The work consists of tasks related mainly to the Back Office applications.

Main tasks that should be developed, supported and/or analysed within this mission are:

• Production improvements, especially in the OSB architecture;
• Interfacing with the Data-warehouse;
• Interfacing with WFS and the New Workflow system, Wave;
• Define, write and maintain technical analysis and architecture documents with the highest standards;
• Integrate User and Security Management module;
• Align the back-office with the evolution of the modules in the front-office;
• Enrich and improve the interfaces with the front-office;
• Analysis, design, validation and implementation of appropriate technology solutions;
• Animation of and participation in weekly status meetings.

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERTISE REQUIRED

• Minimum 8 years of professional experience;
• Excellent knowledge in Service Oriented Architecture;
• Knowledge of Oracle SOA suite, Oracle Service Bus;
• Excellent knowledge of Oracle databases;
• Knowledge of UML;
• Good knowledge of J2EE (EJB/Spring) development tools;
• Good knowledge of Java/JSP;
• Knowledge of BEA WebLogic;
• Knowledge of Maven for testing purposes;
• In-depth knowledge of integration, build and test methodologies;
• Capability to work in English;
• Capability to work in team in a multicultural and multilingual environment;
• Capabilities to draft documents in English, hold meetings and keep the minutes;

SPECIFIC EXPERTISE REQUIRED

• Oracle (min. 8 years);
• SOA (min. 4 year);
• Java (min. 6 years).

• The missions will be located at the EU in Brussels
• English spoken and written.
