JEE LEAD ENGINEER

On behalf of our client, a leading global company within finance we are looking for an experienced JEE Lead Engineer. For this contract position based in Zurich Switzerland our client is looking for a German and English speaking candidate who can start as soon as possible. MUST SKILLS (TECHNICAL):

- Proven JEE track record on senior level
- Master degree in Computer Science
- Multi-year experience in complex, international multi-location environments
- Good communication skills and team player capabilities (interfacing with BRInfra customer-facing team, Product & IT Owner of solution)
- Applied unit & regression testing knowledge
- English language or proficiency level for non-fluent speakers

PREFERRED SKILLS (NON-TECHNICAL):

- Fluent written and spoken German
- Good written and spoken English
- Strong soft skills to handle stakeholders with different background (Requirement engineers, Project leads, Programmers, Offshore resources, Testers etc.)
- Strong ability to work both independently and integrated in a project team
- Good time-management

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Knows in-deep the current Business Rule platform solution implementation
- Supports resolution of technical issues of the solution
- Leads the implementation of specific implementations to integrate the IBM product
- Documents technical facts of the deployed solution
- Enables quality management by providing unit-tested implementations

TASKS:

- Keep up-to-date knowledge on the IBM product ODM (formerly JRules)
- Provide 3rd level support (maintain group mailbox)
- Collaborate in specification phase (new and enhancing features)
- Implement new features including test specification and unit tests
- Support BRInfra rollouts

COMPETENCIES:

- Full implementation competency
- Full issue solution competency
- Partial specification competency in collaboration with the solution owner (Solution Architect)
