JDE Developer/Analyst - JD Edwards

Our large direct client needs a solid JDE Developer/Analyst. This position will provide both development and technical support on the JD Edwards Enterprise One platform. This person will be a part of the team of developers working with Finance users to design system solutions to meet current and future business requirements. Candidate must have strong experience in JDE development (mandatory v8.12, experience with v9.0 is highly preferred).

Essential Responsibilities and Duties
- Participates in the development and post implementation support of JDE Enterprise One enhancement projects
- Expertise in Financial Modules (GL/AR/AP/FA) - proficiency in financial modules is a must
- Perform modifications to existing JDE objects, new report/interface development using JDE Development Toolset (Object Management Workbench)
- Provide technical analysis and problem resolution to support requests received from financial system users located in disparate company locations
- Translate business requirements into effective technical solutions by presenting development options based on best practices
- Produce user documentation for applications developed

Overtime: straight time

- Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 3+ years of experience with JD Edwards E1 (v8.12 or above)
- Development and Functional knowledge of JD Edwards E1 Financial Management Suite
- Object Management Workbench (OMW), Applications UBE (reports), Named Event Rule (NER), Business Functions (BSFN) and Processing Options
- Experience with SQL (Oracle, DB2 database)
- Strong analytical skills and proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly and effectively
- Excellent communication, organization, written and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated, ability to work independently within Corporate IT guidelines, passionate about quality of work, and ability to thrive in a team environment
