JDA Technical Architect

Start Date: 01-06-2016
DURATION: 6-12 months initially
ROLE AND REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
We have a contract opportunity available for an experienced JDA Technical Architect to work on a project for our client in Zurich, Switzerland.
- Able to run workshops to understand processes and deliver functional and technical requirements
- Experience of analysing business diagnostics
- Understand system architecture and technical integration
- Experience of installing, configuring JDA proprietary retail products;
- Able to create technical designs and integration architecture for the to-be process
- Able to customise product workflows and user interface(UI) as required and to retail industry standards
- Experience of providing technical support including quality assurance/design review
- Experience of environment setup, software installation, configuration, operations consulting, system testing, programming
- Able to guide and support project teams on all technical aspects of the to-be process
- Lead the design
- Support the build and delivery of application upgrades
- Strong experience of interfaces between JDA applications and Legacy systems (SAP, EDW, Flex PTC PLM)
- Troubleshooting technical problems. Perform root cause analysis.
- Understand batch scheduling
- Experience of leading and guiding onshore and offshore technical teams

The contract duration is for 6-12 months initially, with likelihood of extension.
