JDA Database Administrator/Integration Architect? #

ROLE AND REQUIRED SKILLS EXPERIENCE:
We have a contract opportunity available for an experienced JDA Database Administrator/Integration Architect to work on a project for our client in Zurich, Switzerland.
- Design and develop databases
- Lead and work with other developers and tune database queries
- Must have hands-on recent experience of working on JDA database
- Backup and recovery databases
- Represent database team in cross-functional meetings related to architecture and design and gather requirements
- Utilise expert level knowledge on database technology to assist application teams build and deploy applications framework to meet business needs
- Working with vendors and customers
- Database security and associated configurations (Schema level Roles and Auditing)
- Experience of table partitioning optimized to JDA application behavior, tablespace management, index management, physical file compliance & optimisation
- Database performance management including experience to address system performance and its dependency to storage and OS

CONTRACT
The contract duration is for 6-12 months initially, with likelihood of extension.
