JD EDWARDS/CURRENCY SPECIALIST ASAP 6 MONTH IN BADEN

On behalf of our client we are looking for support for a JD Edwards Project in south Germany. The start date is ASAP and duration is 6 month.

Overview

The implementations are country-specific, however hosted on a commons platform and sharing certain libraries. A project is planned to prepare for a scenario that a country changes to a different currency. There is a need for a JDE (Technical) Analyst with the following tasks:

OBJECTIVES:

- Technical Impact analysis and Detailed planning of a Exit Scenario
- Provide Guidance & Consultancy on Technical Implementation Options in JDE
- Coordinate the AS400 related activities needed to execute the plan
- Start preparation work ahead of a potential exit announcement (eg, duplicate ledger files in a separate, to-be-created company, start data cleansing activities)
- Develop Migration Programs or Program Specifications as required

Ihr Profil
Requirements

- Ideally Experience in a JDE-based Euro/currency conversion project
- Strong JDE V7.3 experience and knowledge
- Good programming and iSeries tools skills (RPG400, CLP, SQL, Query)
- Strong Finance modules understand financial processes and how these are represented within JDE
- Good understanding of Financial business processes
- Ability to work autonomously with remote management
- Fluent in English
