JD Edwards Application Analyst

Yoh has a six (6) MONTH CONTRACT OPPORTUNITY for a SENIOR JD EDWARDS APPLICATION ANALYST to join our client in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Job Responsibilities:

- JD EDWARDS APPLICATION ANALYST is responsible for supporting the Finance, General Accounting and other Administrative areas regarding issues and enhancements of the following key applications: JDE Finance modules including Accts. Payable, Accts Receivable, Sales Order modules, Fixed Assets and FASTR (Financial Analysis Spreadsheet Tool and Report Writer ).
- JD EDWARDS APPLICATION ANALYST will ensure that the business needs appropriately represented within the IT organization. THIS INCLUDES ADDRESSING BREAK FIX SITUATIONS, SYSTEM ENHANCEMENTS, AND SYSTEM MAINTENANCE SCHEDULING AND COORDINATION.
- Responsible for working closely with the business community to document functional requirements and business processes.
- JD EDWARDS APPLICATION ANALYST will assist in the development of QUALITY ASSURANCE ARTIFACTS INCLUDING TEST PLANS, AND EXPECTED RESULTS.
- RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL ASPECTS OF ACCESS ADMINISTRATION AND CONTROL, executing access requests according to best practices.
- Responsible for the creation of Functional design and Technical design documents and work closely with the IT development team to manage and prioritize break fix, application enhancement, and system maintenance efforts.
- The role of this Analyst also includes serving as a secondary/back-up resource for other key IT systems that are utilized by EMA Manufacturing, Sales and Distribution teams.

Job Qualifications:

- BA/BS Degree, in a technology related field or other degree.
- Minimum of five (5) years industry experience with JD EDWARDS FINANCIAL WORLD SOFTWARE PRODUCTS.
- Minimum of five (5) years industry experience with JD EDWARDS MANUFACTURING ENVIRONMENT.
- Experience with AS400 OPERATING SYSTEM UTILITIES, Query and SQL.
