JBOSS SERVER ADMINISTRATOR

We have an opportunity for an experienced JBoss Server Administrator to join our Large Global IT Services Client.

POSITION TITLE: JBoss Server Administrator

LOCATION: Paris, France

TYPE: Contract 3 months (Extendable)

JOB DESCRIPTION FOR THE JBOSS SERVER ADMINISTRATOR:

As a JBoss Server Administrator the main tasks are:

- JBOSS server admin skills than somebody who has development experience using it.
- JBOSS server admin - ie operating JBOSS server instances (basically L2 and L3 server operations) and also setting them up - clear focus on operations of the server environment.
- Fixing issues with existing JBOSS server environments, also optimization of them
- Upgrading existing JBOSS server environments to versions 5.x
- Trouble ticketing system user experience, for incidents/problems/other tickets, ideally BMC Remedy ARS
- Build RPM packages.

REQUIRED SKILLS FOR THE JBOSS SERVER ADMINISTRATOR:

Looking for a JBoss Administrator with 3-6 years of experience.
Experience with JBOSS server clusters support strategic
JBOSS EAP customer projects and to support internal projects for testing and releasing JBOSS EAP 5.1.2, JBOSS EPP 5.2 and JBOSS SOA 5.2.
Besides project support, support in daily operation (JBOSS last level support) might be required.
French Speaking Skills.

THE JBOSS SERVER ADMINISTRATOR will also be required to participate in Practice development, growth and quality, having particular responsibility of overseeing Client's Infrastructure Competency:
