Our client is a major international organisation based in Lausanne, Switzerland. as part of a major upgrade for their data analysis team, we are looking for a Python and Javascript developer with, ideally, previous experience of scientific programming. Your role will be to provide Front End and Back End development for large dataset projects which will be migrated to a SAP HANA environment. Knowledge of SAP HANA will be a bonus but candidates should have an interest in learning this new environment.
Ideally with previous experience of working on food databases and an understanding of nutrition, you will be required to migrate code from source databases and develop robust algorithms to interpret data from scientific trials and produce user-friendly state of the art Front End user interfaces to present and analyse the data.
Experience of RDF, SPARQL and Triple stores would be a strong advantage
Fluent English both written and spoken is required.
Due to the urgency of this position, we are only able to consider candidates based in Switzerland or from the EU.
