Javascript Developer (Native, OOJS, DOM, HTML, CSS)

We're currently recruiting for a venture-backed start-up that has developed a SAAS product combines data science and consumer psychology to create measurable sales uplift for high profile E-commerce websites.

- They are looking for a Native JavaScript developer to join a small agile team to help improve and maintain their platform. Your JS code will be installed throughout the conversion funnel on major E-commerce websites meaning testing and QA is critical.
- Your workload will be a mixture of product development and customer projects. Product development work includes improvement and maintenance of the JavaScript API along with the core JS code behind the API and also Server Side build and deploy mechanisms.
- Customer project work involves integration of our product with the customer's data layer, and sometimes this sometimes requires low level DOM scraping.
- Larger customers will also require HTML/CSS UI customisation of the social proof message balloons within their pages to match their branding.

Essential requirements:

- Strong JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3 skills
- Knowledge of modern workflows (Git, NPM, Gulp etc) and preprocessors (Less)
- Experience maintaining cross browser and cross platform compatibility
- Test driven focus TDD, BDD (Jasmine, Karma, Selenium)
- Experience with Backbone.js or similar JavaScript MV* framework

Bonus (non-essential) requirements:

- Understanding of Front End performance issues and optimisation
- Experience working on a SaaS product with JavaScript tag installation
