Javascript Developer (Mobile/Web)

One of the premier financial software companies is in need of a senior-level Java/JavaScript Developer to work on a mobile full-featured account management tool used by financial advisors. These tools are complex, sophisticated web-based applications, implemented using the latest technologies. This project is seeking a JavaScript Developer who is looking for an opportunity to be an individual contributor in a fast-paced Agile environment within a very senior Java team which is recognized as the strongest in the industry. This is a permanent position offering an excellent compensation package. Responsibilities: * Java and JavaScript software development, using the latest tools and technologies, for PC, Tablet, and Smartphone devices * Senior individual contributor working within a team of 5 top engineers * 7+ years of commercial software development, proficient in developing multi-tier solutions * Experience with heavy-duty JavaScript is essential. Knowledge of Sencha libraries is a strong plus * Strong OO design and development * Excellent English language communication skills (verbal and written), good interpersonal skills, ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
