What You'll Be Doing:

- Looking for a talented Web/Front End JavaScript developer to help deliver engaging and highly usable client-side web applications for various projects in the human resources industry. Experience should include building interactive prototypes in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and complex client-side JavaScript application development. The right candidate should be committed to contributing at a company that is fast-paced, with many opportunities to work with cutting edge technologies and provide meaningful input.
- Mockup new features and applications for collaborative review with stakeholders and developers
- Convert business and system requirements into UI designs using JavaScript, CSS, HTML, jQuery, Backbone, Marionette, and other modern Front End libraries
- Engage in Peer Code reviews
- Perform maintenance and updates to existing websites and applications
- Create visual concepts that work within company's marketing guidelines
- Participate in stakeholder meetings to evaluate technologies and present proposed architecture to team
- Investigate new UI technologies and recommend technical direction for UI technologies

What You Need to Bring to the Table:

- Please provide a few recent URLs of websites you have contributed to, your portfolio website, or a GitHub profile with examples of work.
- Three (3) plus years designing, developing, and testing accessible, compatible, and standards compliant web-based applications using standards-based HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Experience with JavaScript application development using Backbone, Angular, Marionette (or similar libraries/frameworks), the MVC pattern, object-oriented programming, and client-side build processes
- Strong user-interface design skills
- Ability to rapidly iterate through prototypes
- Solid understanding of current web standards, mobile trends and technologies
- Proficient/expert in hand-coding HTML, JavaScript, jQuery, CSS (HTML5 and CSS3 desirable)
- Experience with Bootstrap, jQuery UI, and the jQuery ecosystem
- Experience designing and debugging web sites in a multi-browser environment
- Ability to integrate Front End with Back End technologies using AJAX, JSON, and SOAP
- Experience with software development life cycle methodologies and practices
- Proactive self-starter with the ability to work one-on-one with other functional groups such as Back End and services development, QA and product management
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in both technical and business environments
- Experience with web-based mobile application development
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git or SVN

Bonus Points! Otherwise Known As Preferred Qualifications:

- Familiarity with Node.js-based command line tools such as Grunt a plus
- Previous development experience with Java, .Net, or PHP is preferred but not required.
