Javascript Developer Job

Yoh has a contract opportunity for a JAVASCRIPT DEVELOPER to join our client in Portland, OR.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- JavaScript Developer will work on multiple projects related to a web app.
- JavaScript Developer will write validation tests in HTML5/CSS/JavaScript.
- JavaScript Developer responsibilities will focus on using JavaScript to automate testing of the app, wherever possible.
- Developer will utilize js, CSS, HTML, GitHub, CSS, HTML against UX mocks and fix complex problems in the software stack.
- Developer will create clear and concise code against user stories and UX mocks utilizing the various parts of our stack as needed.
- Other duties include encouraging discussion to advance the code base through best possible decisions, participate in code reviews and share your knowledge with rest of the team.
- Develop and maintain test cases against all your code.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

- MINIMUM of BS in EE, CE, CS or related subject matter AND three (3+) years of professional experience.
- Significant experience with one or more of the MVC JavaScript frameworks (Backbone, Batman, Angular, EXT, etc.) and/or significant development experience with other large scale JavaScript libraries.
- Experience with complex server systems that serve high-volume consumer sites.

PREFERRED JOB SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE/EDUCATION:

- Experience with Ruby on Rails.
- Solid understanding of practical issues involving sending/processing high volumes of emails.
- Adobe CS fluency as it relates to Front End development.
- Proficient in rapid UI prototype development on mobile platforms including iOS and Android.
