Javascript Developer

Objectives:
Develop and maintain core JavaScript framework, with an eye toward constant refactoring for performance and maintainability, utilising the latest industry thinking and rd party libraries as appropriate
Develop robust JavaScript widgets and interface functionality using dojo and custom framework architecture

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

* Lead the team to code and test the Javascript components
* Work with Business Analysts and Technical Architects on design aspects to meet technical and business requirements
* Interact with clients directly to elicit requirements and define solutions
* Lead detailed design efforts to deliver the use case requirements given Software Architecture and Technical Infrastructure
* Contribute to the definition, maintenance and adherence to development guidelines/standards and processes
* Assist with the deployment and administration of Technical Infrastructure (servers and services, both J2EE and Database)

Experience, Skills & Personal Attributes

* 2+ Years Experience with JavaScript Frameworks (preferably using DOJO framework)
* Experience with AJAX driven applications and JSON
* Knowledge of advanced JavaScript concepts
* Advanced HTML, CSS and DOM manipulation
* Ability to identify and resolve Cross Browser issues
* Experience with Performance Tuning & Profiling is a plus

Exposure to Java enterprise development is a plus
