Java Web Developer - Password Encryption Application - Banking This role is a Technical Delivery Lead role, where the requirement is for an individual to deliver a new encrypted password authentication solution for internet facing applications in the Investment Banking Division of the Bank. This solution will be a composite application that will use some pre-existing presentation and authentication mechanisms and services, but which will also need some bespoke application development to complete the solution. Skill Requirements Java programming with experience of web service development Development of a bespoke Apache http (version 2.2, on Linux) module C / C++ programming with experience of Apache httpd module development Apache httpd identification or authorisation module development experience an advantage Apache Tomcat application development and lifecycling experience an advantage Integration of Java application with LDAP service Understanding of SAML based federated authentication Understanding of Kerberos authentication process Red Hat Linux OS Vendor Technologies Microsoft Active Directory Apache 2.2.xx web server Tomcat V 6.xx web application server
