Java Web Developer - Brussels
Start Date: Immediate
Job Type: Contract/Freelance
Duration: 6 months + extension
Location: Brussels, Belgium
Languages Required: Fluent French & English, Dutch beneficial
Daily Rate: €300-€400
My client is a leading organization within Europe and they are looking to recruit a fluent French and English speaking Java Web Developer to be based in their headquarters in Brussels, Belgium. My client is looking for a Java based candidate who has performed web development services in the past. In addition to this the candidate must have also worked within a .NET based environment and have some knowledge and experience around this technology.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement software and web applications following customer's requirements
- Ensure the elaboration, development and execution of unit test plans to validate that application modules meet technical specifications
- Participate in meetings with the project manager and technical lead to contribute to technical reviews and inspections
Required experience and knowledge:
- You manage perfectly the Java/J2EE environment and you have in depth knowledge of the following technologies: Spring, Hibernate
- You have a minimum experience of 3 years in the .NET environment
- You are bilingual FR/NL and you have a good knowledge of English or you are bilingual FR/EN and you have a good knowledge of Dutch
- You are wishing to learn new techniques and technologies
- You are solution-minded and you integrate easily a team
