JAVA DEVELOPER (WEB APPS) needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Charlotte, NC.

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Java web-based application development
- Strong SQL skills
- JSP, JavaScript, AJAX, jQuery
- Great communication

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Developing large scale web applications within a Customer Portal per design requirements and IT architectural standards.
- Documenting and executing test cases for developed code.
- Troubleshooting and resolving defects with existing applications.
- Creating high level and detailed Java application designs after a proven record of completing coding assignments.
- Coding enhancements to existing applications per business requirements.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Bachelors degree required- preferred in Computer Science.
- The candidate should have proven development experience with large scale Java web based applications and strong SQL Skills.
- Strong communication skills are required.
- Extensive Java Servlet, JSP, JavaScript, AJAX and JQUERY experience

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Proven experience developing applications on Customer Web Portals
- Proven experience creating web services passing sensitive data among internal Back End systems and securely among external environments
- Experience with Customer Billing Systems
- Java designs created with Enterprise Architect
- Strong English Communication Skills
- Web Methods Development
- Strong SQL Skills
