Job Title: Java/VMWare API Developer

Location: London (Nearest Tubes: Aldgate / Aldgate East)

Duration: 3 Months

Rate: Up To 430 P/Day

My client, a specialist managed service provider to the Financial Industry, is looking for a proven Developer to join their team in London. You'll be working in a collaborative environment alongside other developers to deliver an all-encompassing best of breed web based cloud control panel. You will be responsible for the integration of the control panel with VSphere Cloud director as well as VMWare vCentre.

You must have:

"Strong Java (J2EE) Development skills
"Extensive Spring 3 Framework Capabilities including annotations
"Development using Eclipse / Spring Tool Suite
"Excellent OO and Associated Design Patterns
"Comfortable working on Linux platform
"Deployment to Tomcat
"Knowledge of RESTful Web Services
"Automated builds with Maven
"Logging with Log4J
"Unit Testing with JUnit
"Source control using Subversion
"Strong Capabilities Agile (Scrum) would be beneficial

You need to be knowledgeable and effective in: EXPERIENCE

"Coding against VMWare's APIs
"vCloud SDK for Java
"PowerCLI is advantageous
"vCloud API 1.5
"vSphere Web services SDK
"Proven capabilities with open source CMS systems such as Drupal or Liferay is a bonus.
