Our client, a global financial institution, are looking for a strong Front End web application developer with strong analytical and technical ability with 4-6 years of experience in Front End web application development with modern frameworks.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Looking for a Front End web application developer with a strong background in JavaScript/CSS/MVC/JSP/Struts to develop Front End web/mobile applications. The candidate will need to be comfortable working in an Agile development environment with short term deliverables as well as in a traditional Waterfall project model.  Refactoring code should be seen as an opportunity, not a concern. Candidate should be hands on and have a strong analytical and technical ability with 3-4 years' experience in JavaScript/CSS/JSP/Struts, and should have experience with modern MVC frameworks. Strong verbal and written communication skills are key. 

The position is based in Dublin and requires good analytical skills to develop creative solutions to meet client and business needs.  The candidate will be required to work with complex and variable issues with substantial potential impact, weighing various alternatives and balancing potentially conflicting needs. The candidate will be a part of a globally distributed team with members in USA, Ireland and India.

JOB SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS

- Substantial experience in JavaScript/CSS/MVC technologies (AngularJS, Backbone, Bootstrap). 
- Well versed with design standards & frameworks. 
- Experience in working on multiple technologies. 
- Quick learner of new tools and technologies.
- Technologies Required - Javascript, CSS, MVC (AngularJS, Backbone), UI frameworks (Bootstrap), RESTful WebServices, Ajax, XML, Application Servers (WebSphere/Weblogic), JSP, Struts, RDMBS - Oracle/DB2. 
- Methodologies - Agile, Waterfall, Test Driven Development. 
- Tools - Grunt, Bower, Eclipse and automated testing tools like JUnit, Jasmine, Cucumber/Gherkins.
