Java Technology Analyst

Position: Java Technology Analyst
Location: Paris (Zone 3)
Duration: 3-4 months
Rate: 48-50 Euros per hour
Industry: Major Consultancy (Insurance Domain)

Role/Responsibilities:
-Resolve customer problems of insurance application used for the banking side of business
-Reviewing of deliverables and customer support of the client's application
-Co-ordination with different stakeholders within the business (technical and non-technical)
-Analysis of business requirements, interpretation and composing of technical documentation for off-shore development team
-Reading and understanding designs from on-site development team to ensure they are structured and correct
-Ensuring deliverables from off-shore team meet client requirements and sanity testing of those deliverable
-Deploying deliverables onto client environment and ensuring smooth running of application

Essential Skills:
-Bilingual (Fluent in English and French)
-4 years commercial experience as a Java Analyst
-Commercial Java experience
-Struts framework, EJB
-Configuration and release management experience

Desirable Skills:
-Knowledge of ETL Integration eg SAS
-Insurance and actuarial domain experience
-Knowledge of basic UNIX commands
-Experience in co-ordination, Analysis & design, testing & Requirement Specification creation activities
-Preferably with Insurance and actuarial domain knowledge
