Java Technical Consultant - Groningen (Netherlands)

Looking for Java Technical Consultants to work in Groningen (Netherlands).

You will participate in all aspects of programming within a team, from design, implementation, documentation and user support to the development of existing and custom applications. Furthermore, you will participate in the development and testing of applications.

As JAVA technical consultant, you will show thorough experience with JAVA custom applications and JAVA components of standard packages and Oracle Forms. You'll also be able to design technical solutions reviewing design specifications to standards and overall architecture.

Requirements:

- A bachelor/university degree in IT
- Extensive and proven experience with JAVA custom applications, and Oracle application generators Web based Oracle Forms (Java based) and APEX - mandatory;
- Extensive experience with making (technical) design, development and testing of JAVA;
- Experience with adapting existing applications;
- Experience taking over existing applications;
- Experience with code analysis tools;
- Experience with unlocking existing applications to service-based environments;
- Experience consolidating applications;
- Experience working with large (international) companies and associated complexity in control;
- Practical knowledge and experience with the impact of technology on business processes and organization;
- Pragmatic attitude towards problem solving;
- Good analytical skills with little information to develop much understanding
- Good command of Dutch and English (written and spoken)
- Pro - active work attitude
- A keen interest in understanding the customers' problems and the will to implement solutions for our customers technology
