Java Technical Analyst - Voice Platforms/IVR - Contract

We are looking for Java Technical Specialist who has a background in Telephony & contact center software delivery, working through all software delivery phases from requirements analysis, technical design, build and implementation. The technical consultant must understand customer functional requirements, lead functional and technical design and if required be capable of leading the software delivery.

Technical Consultant responsibilities are as follow, but not limited to:


- Understand and review of customer functional requirement
- Lead technical design as prepared by the Business Analyst
- Responsible for technical planning and effort estimations
- Where needed be able to manage a development team to deliver software to agreed customer milestones
- Responsible for the highlighting and management of concerns, risks and issues
- Will be the single point of contact from the customer for discussion of the technical design and where appropriate technical delivery


- Computer science/Engineering Bachelor's degree.
- 5+ years of recent hands-on Java development experience.
- 3+ years of recent hands-on Javascript (preferably extjs) development experience.
- Experience with various technology platforms such as Avaya/Genesys/Aspect/Nuance etc & IVR's is ESSENTIAL
-Must have Java, .NET development experience.
- Proven track record of technical leadership on projects, on a client facing environment.
- Be able to work in acquisition of new opportunities through implementation of smaller POC projects
- A high-energy individual who is able to simultaneously manage multiple project activities.
- Attention to Detail - Ability to undertake detailed project activities with accuracy and reliability.
- Communication skills - Ability to effectively communicate ideas and concepts to other team members including both Customer and representatives.
- Excellent English- spoken and written
- Team Work - Ability to interface and work cooperatively with teammates, customers and third-party service providers.
- Excellent interpersonal skills - ability to manage both the internal delivery team and the client
- Experience in a Professional Services environment is an advantage
