Java Tech Lead

JOB SPECIFICATION

TITLE: Java Tech Lead
JOB LOCATION: CDG, France
JOB TYPE: Contract
CONTRACT DURATION: Minimum 12 Months

JOB DESCRIPTION:
1. Should be good in Java/J2EE with WebLogic, Linux/Unix, Spring, Hibernate, SQL, JMS, Maven, Eclipse, XML
2. Should have experience working with distributed teams
3. Analyze application pain points, understand existing code for implementation, suggest technical solutions & propose modernization approach
4. Monitor & control overall technical execution and provide updates to project stack holders (internal & external)
5. Understand BRS/SRS and take it forward with technical team on design/implementation
6. Logistics domain knowledge is preferred. Sortation & Clearance domain knowledge would be an added advantage
7. Exposure to PHP, C, Sybase to understand the application & take part in technical discussions

Note: Application uses approximately about 1500+ Sybase procedures & 1500+ Unix Scripts that need modernization. It is important the person understands JMS and has working knowledge in Linux/Unix
