Java Swing GUI Developer - Java Swing FX

Montash have been engaged by a leading Investment Bank to source and secure strong Java Swing GUI Developers to join a greenfield cross asset class trading platform development project. The Java Swing GUI Developers will need strong experience of working on Greenfield projects and working in globally dispersed teams. The architecture of the Java Swing GUI is constantly evolving an experience of leading the development and Java Architecture contributions will be highly desirable.

The Java Swing GUI Developer will be responsible for the system design and build and take ownership of the application release quality. The Java Swing developer will need a strong understand of the full development life cycle and coding experience on high avaliability, distributed platforms/nTier applications.

The Java Swing GUI Developer will need an excellent understanding of multithreaded, low latency, high throughtput development. Experience of working within Global Investment banks and an understanding of FX/Financial products will be highly desirable. The platform will evolve from a Fixed Income eCommerce offering into a multi asset class global trading system.

Skills:
- Excellent Java Swing GUI Development experience
- Good knowledge of all aspects of software design and low level architecture development
- Excellent understanding of messaging and communication protocols; Point-To-Point (TCP), multicast (UDP), RPC including reliable and guaranteed messaging delivery policies
- Understanding of SQL
- Exposure to eCommerce Products and FX trading platforms will be highly desirable
- Excellent problem solving abilities and communication skills
