Java/Swagger API/Restful Web Services Developer - Global Ecommerce

Java/Swagger API/RESTful Web Services Developer x2 required urgently for an English-speaking project with a major global company based in the Amsterdam region.

Our client is a global leader in their field and a true household name brand. They are currently embarking on a huge investment to build their future application estate using modern Web and Cloud based technologies utilising Java, Node.JS, APIs and Swagger all running on one of Europe's largest AWS estates. These hires will join an Agile team collaborating with Senior Engineers and Architects to develop APIs to solve key business problems. This is a highly dynamic environment where you will be fully enabled to innovate and challenge conventional thinking.

Requirements

- Ability to develop, configure, and implement complex solutions and code in Java and API technologies such as OpenAPI, Swagger and RESTful Web Services.
- Experience with Continuous Integration and Test Driven Development is a plus.
- Ability to design, develop, configure, test, and implement complex solutions and code in an AWS environment including API's, Lambda, Kinesis, and similar technologies.
- Experience in deployments/developments in the public cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred: EC2, DynamoDB, S3, SQS, SNS).
- Ability to conduct performance monitoring, tuning, and analyze performance against benchmarks.
- Experience or interest working in a Lean/Agile/SAFe environment.
- Willingness to learn multiple programming languages.
- Exceptional multi-tasking, collaboration, listening, written and verbal communication skills.
