JAVA SW/HW Consultant - Brussels 3 Month Rolling Contract

CIS have a technical consultant position for a SW engineer to be based in Brussels, 3 months rolling contract.

The contract will be 30% development work and 70% consulting with the customer on technical issues.

The technical competences are as follows:

Activity description:
Viewed by the customer as primary point of contact for all technical aspects linked to the clients deliveries and internal activities, position requires strong interpersonal and technical, development skills and the ability to effectively articulate issues and solutions.
Environment (HW/SW):
Arm 9 technology and Payment terminals
Linux Embedded environment
C, Java programming language
Android SDK

Skills:
- Master degree or equivalent in electronic or computer science
- 5-6 years' experience in software dev and programming method (knowledge Agile methodology is a plus)
- Good knowledge of the C, Java and SDK Embedded environment( android is a plus) -Good knowledge in Linux, Windows and deployment of server based solution
- Good Knowledge in network deployment solution and web portal- The knowledge of security concepts and/or Embedded technology
- Languages: spoken and written: in English
- Be able to work closely with end-users( customer focus)
- Autonomous, always taking initiatives to satisfy the customers and demonstrating Leadership and problem solving mind-set
