Java, SQL, XML Analyst Programmer

Proteus Europe is searching for a Java Developer based in Belgium who has an understanding of both Dutch and French.

Our Client:- Our Client is a public service provider based in Brussels, Belgium. They work in the infrastructure side of Public service and as such have a reputation for consistently delivering reliable services as thousands of people in Belgium depend upon them every single day.

Your New role:-

Project Context

As of 01/2018, a GP will be given the opportunity to issue a health certificate electronically. The electronic circuit will allow the doctor to check a number of parameters in function of the payment.
The certificate will be sent to the patients mutuality where the performance will be sent in the repayment process.

Stake:

The project digitizes the processing of the delivered performance by doctors, This process will be fully reviewed and revised with a view to efficiency

All changes made must comply with the architecture rules defined by the organization. This means that the application must meet the SOA requirements.

Responsibilities:

- You are in charge of implementing the requirements
- During the development, you must work closely with the business, solution architect, analysts and testers, so that the functionalities are properly implemented and tested (unit tests).

Tasks and deliverables:

- You communicate efficiently with the various stakeholders (business/functional analysts, solution architect) to fully understand the priorities of the tasks.
- You ensure that your code is fully encrypted with unit tests.
- You are able to make technical improvements and defend them with the solution architect.
- You support the tester for functional tests.
- You analyze integrations with other parties and systems.
- You are able to develop the technical design based on a functional analysis.
- You work with infrastructure staff to install the applications and monitor their operation.
- You thoroughly document your software without shedding in details.

Your Skills and experience:-

Essential Skills:- - You have a thorough knowledge of UML, SQL, JAVA 6 and 8, SQL, Transparent Persistency, XML, XSD, Web Services (SOAP and REST), EJB, SOA, Rich GUIs (Vaadin)
- You have experience in the development and application maintenance of enterprise-class systems.
- You have experience in Agile methodologies
- You are critical and have a good analysis and synthesis ability
- You can work independently and in team
- You want quality, accuracy and a no-nonsense mentality
- You can work under stress
- You are result-oriented, proactive, dynamic, ...
- You are NL/FR - speaking with good knowledge of the other language of the country.
