Java Spring

The contract is with a large consultancy to be on an assignment with a large European site in central Brussels as follows:- Tasks:- Maintenance of the application; Analysing requests for new functionalities; Programming the new functionalities; Testing the new developments; Deploying the developments into production; Following up the issues coming in via the helpdesk.

Requirements:- - Proven knowledge in Web development and Database developrnent; Ability to cope with the fast changing technologies used in web site management;
- Able to cope with the needs of multi-language site deployment; Able to participate in multi.-lingual meetings .(French/English); Capability of working in an international multicultural environment, experience in team working.
- Specific knowledge of Java Spring is required.

Education and Experience:- - Minimum 13 years of relevant studies and experience after the secondary school
- Minimum 9 years of relevant professional experience in software development in Java.
- Knowledge in the following development domains:- Database Development: PL/SQL. Oracle; WebLogic Application Server development: Java. J2FE.
- Webservices development WXJAXB. SOAP; Java Frameworks: Spring and Hibernate (recent versions): strong knowledge!; Limited Flex version 3 and 4 programming experience. - The stress lies on the in depth knowledge of Spring. Good Experience in analysing and Use Cases creation. Good knowledge of specificities of WebLogic server Java development.
