THE PROJECT: F2B client self servicing and automated execution in Bern, Switzerland

YOUR TASKS:

- Actively consulting the internal customers in conceptual and technical questions and helping them to find the best solutions according to interface and application design
- Responsibility to create and maintain the necessary unit-tests and documentation as well as review the documentation and specification provided by other project members
- Accountability to accomplish level 3 support and management of the CR's in SWAN XP/SNOW
- Analyzing user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints.
- Modifying existing software to correct errors, allowing it to adapt to new hardware, or to improve its performance.
- Designing, developing and modifying software systems, using OO analysis, OO design with UML and J2EE technologies.

YOUR EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:

- University degree in computer science or related subjects with 5+ years experience in Java/JEE engineering in application development projects
- Expert skills with Java, JEE, guidelines, architecture
- Practical experience in integration technologies, especially web services
- Strong commitment to test-driven development (JUnit, Continuous Integration) and relational database design, Patterns (design); Eclipse and Subversion
- Experience in SQL (Oracle) and data base design; OO analysis and OO design with UML
- Fluent in German both written and spoken, good written and spoken English
