Java Software Integrator

Context
In the scope of major software projects/programs, our company is searching for a Java integration specialist. He/she will assist in the setup and integration of software and infra components of new and existing applications, from architecture until production.
The java integrator will become part of a project team and deal with various technical actions aimed at setting up a working end to end environment. He/she will also support the project leader on technical issues, facilitate the communication with technical teams and coordinate the software build, configuration and deployment process.

Function Description
Principal responsibilities
- Act as the SDE (Software Development & Engineering) technical expert to support the assembly activities linked to major software developments. You will be point of contact, coordinator and/or execute the project's 'integration' activities.
- Support the Project Manager during the life cycle of his/her projects by solving technical issues that could harm the progress / deadlines / deliveries.
- Coordinate, in collaboration with the infrastructure project leader, all technical activities required for the configuration/setup & technical acceptance of the (new) application parts / infrastructure in the appropriate environments (lab, development , test, QA, production).

Assist in the integration of the delivered solution through all layers of our infrastructure (Understanding of architecture document, participation to deployment process, help with AMW security files, Deployment document, certificates, MQ queues, contact with Infra & Operations, problem analysis, …)
- Advise the project team on tooling for collaboration, source management, build, deployment, testing, … according to our standards.
- Log and report the lessons learned in order to work out good practices.
- Help define improvement areas

Other responsibilities
- Acquire an in depth knowledge of the distributed technical infrastructure on which applications have to be assembled and run.
- Be open and collaborative to make the different stakeholders converge towards a common solution
- Provide constructive guidance & insight to different teams based on technical knowledge & experience
- Be persistent to get a running product with different parties and stakeholders
- Take in consideration the official Standard & Guidelines, Secure Development and performance constraints
- Provide support to external suppliers towards understanding of our frameworks and environmental problems (or others).
- Progress reporting in a structured way
- Assist in the coordination of the SW build, configuration & deployment process
- Acquire an in depth knowledge of the different frameworks used in development as well as the roadmap evolution of our future systems
- Acquire a in depth knowledge of the distributed technical infrastructure on which the applications to be assembled are running
