Java Software Engineer Job

Yoh has multiple contract opportunities for JAVA SOFTWARE ENGINEERS to support our client in St. Charles, MO. These are longterm multi-year assignments.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Code and successfully perform unit and integration testing of software to ensure proper and efficient execution as well as compliance to the business and technical requirements
- Work with other software engineers to design interfaces between software applications in order to complete design requirements
- Use system traces and debugging tools for problem determination and system tuning
- Participate in the migration of applications to quality assurance and/or the production environment
- Work with managers and team members to develop development standards
- Perform necessary production-support tasks involving on-call responsibilities

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

- Must be currently eligible to work in the US for any employer
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or related field preferred
- At least five (5) years of experience in software programming and application development
- Five (5) plus years of experience with Java/J2EE, EJB
- Three (3) plus years of experience with Spring, Hibernate
- Three (3) plus years of experience with WebServices, and exposure to SOA is preferred
- Proficient knowledge of object-oriented application development principles, concepts and object-oriented analysis and design
- Proficient knowledge of Core Java, J2EE, EJB, Servlets, JSP, JMS, Web Services, XML, XSLT, design patterns and standards
- Proficient knowledge of JUnit, Log4J, Ant and other build tools
- Knowledge of Oracle, DB2 or SQL DB is a plus
- Working knowledge of IBM Rational development tools such as ClearQuest, ClearCase, etc.
