Java Software Engineer/Developer (Senior) - for US Withholding Tax Project wanted for our Zurich based client in the banking sector.
YOUR TASKS:
- Developing Java business logic components with EJB, JPA, JMS and Java User Interfaces with JSF
- Preparing and executing unit and system tests
- Analysing and fixing of defects and test environment issues
- Creating solution proposals and estimations
- Technical documentation of all delivered artifacts
YOUR EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:
- University degree or a similar education in information technology or information management
- Over 8 years proven experience as a software engineer with knowledge of EJB 3.x, JSF 2.x, JMS, JPA, JUnit, SQL/PL/SQL, XML, Web-Services, MQ Series
- Knowledge of design patterns
- Profound skills on how to implement an application on the Java Application Platform (JAP)
- Good knowledge of Eclipse IDE, SVN, JIRA, Enterprise Architect 9.x, Oracle DB, Linux/Unix Shell, Maven, Weblogic
- Experienced in planning and leading on-site and off-shore software engineers
- Languages: fluent English and German both written and spoken
