Java Software Engineer (Contract)

For an international financial institution in Lucerne we are seeking a highly motivated professional to take up the following challenge:

JAVA SOFTWARE ENGINEER (CONTRACT)

JOB DESCRIPTION

- Design and implementation of new functionalities for Client Tax Reporting
- Development of Java business logic components with EJB, JPA, JMS as well as of Java User Interfaces with JSF
- Preparation and performing of unit and system tests
- Creation of technical documentation and solution proposals
- Analysis and fixation of defect and test issues

REQUIREMENTS

- More than 6 years' hands-on experience in development of web applications with Java and excellent knowledge in:
- EJB 3.x, JSF 2.x, JMS, JPA
- Junit, SQL, XML, Web-Services
- Very good knowledge in design patterns
- Proven track record in agile (SCRUM/iterative, Jira or stories) and test driven developments
- Good experience in:
- IDE, SVN
- Oracle DB, Linux/Unix Shell, Corba, Maven, Ant, Weblogic
- Analytical, structured and innovative working-style
- Open, flexible and methodical team player
- Fluent in GERMAN AND ENGLISH

CONTRACT DETAILS

- Start: ASAP
- Daily Rate: CHF 715 - 725 all inclusive
- Duration: 12 months (extension highly possible)
- Location: Lucerne
