For a project at our client's site, an international bank based in Zurich, we are looking for an experienced

JAVA SOFTWARE ENGINEER - CONNECTIVITY PROTOCOL/SWIFT (4492)

As a part of the IPS Global Order Manager Department, you will handling suite of applications for Securitized, Structured and Treasury Products for Wealth Management in Switzerland and is core to the rollout globally.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:

- 5+ YEARS EXPERIENCE AS A JAVA SOFTWARE ENGINEER, PREFERABLY WITHIN BANKING ENVIRONMENT
- STRONG CORE JAVA SKILLS AND LARGE-SCALE ENTERPRISE, OBJECT-ORIENTED DESIGN EXPERIENCE
- KNOWLEDGE OF DISTRIBUTED COMPUTING AND LOW-LATENCY, MULTITHREADED SOLUTIONS
- EXPERIENCE IN CONNECTIVITY PROTOCOLS LIKE FIX, SWIFT
- Understanding of order/executions management systems in financial markets
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Develop software components as defined by the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Test unit and integration of components for integration into larger subsystems
- Support the Software Component Manager in resolving high-priority defects and deploying fixes to production systems
- Make sure that produced code is secure, stable and operational
