LOCATION:  Plano, TX

POSITION TYPE:  6 Month Contract

SALARY CONVERSION:  to $45 W2                

ABOUT THE POSITION

Technical development responsibilities in a graphical user interface environment with emphasis on Object Oriented development using the Java development tool. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: analysis, coding, testing, programming, technical design, documentation, mentoring and expertise with new platforms and development environments. Developer will be working to craft a service layer over an established dataset to model and stage data for a UI/UX expert to craft the user experience.

Resource should be extremely knowledgeable on Grails, Groovy, Java, and Oracle Database implementations. If Grails and Groovy experience are not present, needs to have Java EE/EJB/Tiles/Structs/Hibernate experience. Also should have MVC and Data Modeling skills. Should also be versed in JavaScript framework/Single-page web app implementations such as Backbone.js or Angular.js.

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

5+ years of experience in the following skill sets

- Grails - will prefer expertise in this over other skills
- Groovy - will prefer expertise in this over other skills
