Java Software Developer

Proteus Europe is searching for a Java skilled software Developer for a 12 month contract in Belgium.

Your New Role:-

We are looking for a developer responsible for building Java and C/C++ applications with an experience of around 6-9 years in Software development. This includes maintenance and enhancement. Your primary responsibility will be to design and develop these applications, and to coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure. Thus, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and product quality is essential.

Your Skills And Experience:-

Essential Skills:-
- Proficient in Java, JSP, Servlets, Spring, JUnit and JMS
- Proficient in C/C++ and Make utility
- Proficient in Unix commands and Scripting
- Knowledge in XML, XSD and WSDL, TIBCO EMS
- Knowledge on Oracle PL/SQL is appreciated
- Work experience in Agile Methodologies
- Strong understanding of Multithreaded programming
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming
- Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
- Familiarity with build tools such as Ant, Maven, and Jenkins
- Familiarity with continuous integration
