Java SME

JAVA SUBJECT MATTER EXPERT required for our client, a large banking institution in Zurich. As a JAVA SME you will work on several large regulatory and client confidentiality projects.

Responsibilities will include acting as a Java, Scala and architecture SME.

You will participate in a full range of development activities including, but not limited to:

- Define requirements and solution
- Maintain close contact with the offshore scrum team for development phases
- Hands on coding where required
- Solution QA and release support.
- Help with architectural decisions and strategy and ensure this is implemented where possible

Required Skills and Experience:

- Must have technologies: Java, MQ, SQL, Linux.
- Desirable technologies: Oracle, WebSphere.
- Agile/Scrum process, Jira, Git.
- Experience of reference data management applications, large data volumes, data design, user interaction, data/business rules.
- Experience of data hub/integration applications - messaging, file transfer, ETL, data quality, reconciliation.
- Good specification skills in the Agile manner using Jira (brief, mclear, etc)
- Fluent English is a must, German and Russian are desirable
