Java Server Side Developer

For an Air Traffic Management client, Eurocity is looking for an JAVA SERVER SIDE DEVELOPER for a one year contract with a possibility of extension.

TASKS

- Design, development and maintenance of N-CONECT program, Portal and B2B applications.
- Oncall support for about 3 to 4 weeks a year during the applications migration.
- Development and maintenance of unit test frameworks, unit tests for the software components and software frameworks. Prototyping of new architecture or features.
- Participate to the analysis of the changes& writing technical documents

MUST HAVE (KNOCK OUT CRITERIA)

- Experience with Object Oriented Analysis, design and programming
- Extensive Java knowledge
- Extensive GUI design experience
- Experience in mission critical application development

NICE TO HAVE (PREFERRED SKILLS)

- Experience with GWT/Sencha GTX or Swing
- Experience with application Servers including BEA Weblogic or similar
- Experience with open source tools based on Java, Web 2.0 technologies and IDE like Eclipse
- Experience with GIT, Gradle
- Experience with Spring Cloud configuration, ActiveMQ, Logstash, ElasticSearch, Kibana, Gerrit, Cucumber
- Required languages for this role: English
