JAVA/SCALA DEVELOPER

A leading client is looking for Java/Scala Developer to begin a two-year project.

JAVA/SCALA DEVELOPER KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The Java/Scala Developer will participate in a team of business critical systems within complex and large projects. Examples of projects that you can work on are: both simulators (mobile) information and communication systems. The emphasis is on Back End development and Agile work within the Scrum framework.

We are looking for experienced Java/Scala developers with a specialty in designing, building and managing critical IT systems.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

* Experience with Java/Scala software development.
* Experience with one or more of these J2EE application Servers: Tomcat, Glassfish or WAS
* Experience with one or more of these frameworks: Spring, Hibernate, JSF and Wicket
* Experience unit testing (JUnit)
* Experience with tools such as Git, Maven, Jenkins
* Experience in documenting the developed software (especially architecture and design)
* You can express yourself well both verbally and in writing, in fluent Dutch
* Experience with developing according to an Agile approach and preferably the Scrum framework
* Experience with a 10E as IntelliJ, Eclipse or Net Beans
* Experience with Web Services, REST, AJAX and related XML technologies and JSON
* Experience with range, akka and QT, the preferred
* Experience with Elastic Search and/or Posigres is preferred
* Experience with ZeroMQ or ActiveMQ is preferred
