Java Programmer Expert

SUMMARY:

- Company is writing browser based systems for its generation business unit.
- This engagement includes the use of technical skills for developing software solutions, and working with people to extract and document system requirements.
- You will either be working alone on small projects or on a larger project team under a project manager or technical lead.
- You would be producing new applications as well as extending and enhancing existing applications.
- Support of the application after it is in production may also be required.
- We are looking for an Expert Java EE Programmer, specifically expert Java coder to augment our existing team of developers.
- Our environment has multiple layers - HTML, SOAP & REST web service, application services, hibernate, with Legacy database.
- We are developing using the Eclipse IDE and deploying to a JBoss server.
- We are building a foundation for well-written, object-oriented code that is easily maintainable and will decrease our time to market for future projects.

SKILLS:

QUALIFICATIONS:

- The applicant should have 6+ years of experience and a 4-year college degree in an IT field or equivalent experience.
- In addition, the applicant should have a proven track record with specific examples of being an independent worker and quick learner.
- They should demonstrate problem solving skills and the ability to speak with clients using business terms.
- They will be required to collaborate with internal clients and with IT resources to find solutions which meet the business need, and which are effective, accurate, and maintainable.
- They should be able to work well independently with minimal guidance as well as in team settings.
- Good communication skills are a must.
- It is desired that the successful candidate would be either a senior developer or a technical lead.
