Java/PL/SQL Developer

JAVA/PL/SQL DEVELOPER

On behalf of our client, a bank here in Zurich, we are looking for a Java developer with good PL/SQL know-how. For this one year contract position based in Zürich, our client is looking for an English speaking candidate. Your tasks:

- Implement software solutions/components for the Risk platform
- Guide and lead developers
- Manage development tasks end-to-end and review code and designs
- Working closely with other stakeholders - development, testing and implementation teams

The skills and experience needed for this position are:

- 5+ years of hands-on development using core Java and Oracle PL/SQL
- Experienced in holding a senior technical role within a team
- Solid understanding of Object Oriented Design, database design and development.
- Good knowledge of UNIX
- Work experience in the banking environment is a Must - experience in the Credit risk area is a plus
- Fluent in English
