For one of our clients, a worldwide renowned Bank based in Zürich, Swisslinx is currently looking for a Java Performance Engineer for 3 months contract initially.
In this role you will work closely with software architects and other senior engineers to design, document and maintain the performance of innovative applications. Furthermore you will be responsible for the system performance and stability within a high availability environment.
In order to be considered for this position, we are looking to find the best candidates with the following profile:
- Extensive Java software performance tuning experience
- Experience in Java development within J2EE environment
- In-depth experience of WebSphere Application Server and application profiling
- In-depth knowledge with Object Oriented Design and Design Patterns
- Strong knowledge of messaging technologies like MQ, JMS, openJMS
- Experience with agile project management software such as Jira
- Fluency in English
