Java/Murex Developer

For a world leading Financial institution in Zurich, Switzerland, we are urgently looking for a talented JAVA engineer with strong SQL and Murex knowledge.

The ideal candidate should be passionate about technology, a team player with a minimum of 2 years continuous experience developing enterprise applications using JAVA. The candidate will also have had exposure to a variety of development methodologies, test automation tools and frameworks.

A quick learner plus a disciplined and well organized personality is required.

Below are the main skills required for this JAVA Engineer/Murex Developer position:

- Good knowledge of the Java framework, I/O, Multithreading, persistence frameworks (Hibernate, JAXB, etc.)
- Good design of SQL queries and ability to investigate performance issues
- Knowledge of build tools and IDEs and knowledge of control versioning systems
- Good understanding of the IT domain overall, with special attention for networks and distributed applications
- Core Murex skills for MxML and/or Datamart
- The working language is English, in an open and multicultural environment
- Financial domain knowledge is not required but seen as an advantage
- German speaking is not mandatory but seen as an advantage
