Java Middleware Consultant

Exciting opportunity for a Java Middleware Consultant working for a Specialist Consultancy that has experienced 50% growth in an economically challenging time. Ideally you would have previous consultancy experience, however developers looking to move into consultancy are also welcome to apply.

The role is mainly based on various client sites so candidates have to be happy working across theUK.

Essential skills for this role:
3+ years JEE Experience
3+ years JBoss OR WebLogic OR Tomcat experience
Willingness to work away from home

Desirable skills:
Web Services and SOA
Websphere exposure
JBoss SOA platform
Drools
Active MQ
Camel
Knowledge of Virtualisation Platforms (VMWare or Xen)
Knowledge of JEE Specifications
Oracle database

Location: Home based with some office visits in Malvern, mainly visiting client sites across theUK
Type: Permanent
Salary: £40,000 - £60,000 (depending on experience and skills)
