Java Lead Developer / Maintainer (m/f)

IHRE AUFGABEN:

-Work together in a team with 7 developers who are responsible for maintaining and enhancing a technical framework, consisting of about 100.000 lines of code and 3rd party libraries, that is used by about 10 domain teams to build business applications
-Take over the responsibility for the code quality of a specific area
-Coach developers when implementing tasks to ensure the design quality
-Take over code reviews to ensure the adherence to the development rules and guidelines
-Create and present code quality reports based on Sonar
-Provide 3rd level support for the framework including analyzing and fixing production incidents and problems
-Support domain teams in how to use the framework and help them analyze their defects
-Implement framework enhancements and improvements (at the moment basically stabilization, clean up and refactoring)
-Analyze and fix defects, analyze problems in 3rd party libraries and create framework releases
-Write technical documentation

IHRE QUALIFIKATIONEN:

-Professional experience as high potential developer
-Good understanding of software design in general and componentization, decoupling and client layer design (e.g. presentation model pattern) in particular
-Good communication and English skills (both orally and in writing)
-Passion for working with technical frameworks
-Stamina in investigating and nailing down complicated technical issues in 3rd party libraries (e.g. IceFaces, EclipseLink)
-Know-how regarding Java based Web applications in general, JSF + Facelets, Java EE or Spring, JPA, Git, Eclipse IDE
-Experience in large projects (more than 25 developers) with heavy weight processes, JavaScript know-how in general and JQuery in particular and extended knowledge in one of the top 4 frameworks JSF, IceFaces, EclipseLink, Weld as well as in JBoss is beneficial
