Java/JEE Developer - Luxembourg

Languages: ENGLISH and FRENCH

Skills and experience:

- Proven experience in business analysis
- Ability to produce business requirements, analysis, and design document (UML, use cases, )
- Ability to work effectively with business users and maintain a good working relationship

Must demonstrate knowledge of the following technologies used to build in-house applications, and the corresponding build processes. RDBMS used by internally developed Java applications include:

- Oracle 11g

Programming languages used to build internally developed applications include: - Java, in particular with the following skills/tools

- Eclipse IDE
- SQL (SQLdeveloper)
- Hibernate
- Struts
- Spring
- JSF
- Jackrabbit (Apache)
- Html
- Javascript
- Web services

The staff member ideally should have some knowledge of the following technologies/applications which the internal applications integrate with:

- Livelink (document management)
- Adobe Acrobat forms (data input)
- Active Directory/LDAP

The support and maintenance of the Admin suite Java applications will require skills in Java, Java frameworks, Oracle, HTML, Javascript, Livelink, and also knowledge of the main business areas the applications support: contract management, and document management.

- Problem solving
- Configuration changes/management
- Interventions in production
- Database modification
- Bug fixing
- Small developments/application improvements
- Co-ordination of releases with other teams
- Change management
- Packaging and documenting releases according to the policies
- Testing of changes, and use of user acceptance testing environments prior to changes to production and proper documentation of such testing activities
