Java/JEE Developer (back-end) - Contract

JAVA SOFTWARE DEVELOPER - BACK END

We require several Java Developers with strong analytical and technical experience in Core Java & Java EE. These contracts are available for a recruitment drive within an Internationally recognised Financial Services Company in Dublin City Centre.

All applicants must have Valid Working Status for Ireland and be AVAILABLE TO INTERVIEW ON JUNE 24TH WITHIN A DUBLIN BASED OFFICE.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

- The ability to manage day to day delivery work, ensure adherence to process and quality, and identify project/program delivery risks and works on risk mitigation.
- Strong technical ability with 4-6 years of experience in Core Java, Java EE. Some UI/Front End exposure is preferred.
- An additional 3-4 years working on complex medium to large projects in a fast paced financial environment with experience in JavaScript/CSS/JSP/Struts and should have experience with modern MVC frameworks.
- Requires good analytical skills in order to filter, prioritise and validate potentially complex material from multiple sources and applies skills and knowledge of the business to develop creative solutions to meet client and business needs.

TECHNICAL SKILLS:

- Experience in working on multiple technologies and medium to complex systems, well versed with design standardsTEST DRIVEN DEVELOPMENT and automated testing tools like Junit, Cucumber/Gherkins - no set testing tool need, just experience with Test driven development (TDD)
